#5: Accomplishments

    Important things I accomplished this year were entering Kobe university and attending at all classes. Because I entered faculty of maritime sciences in Kobe university to become a ship engineer. So I was able to advance one step of my dream. And we have to take classes of general subject to study specialized subject. So  attending at all classes is very important 

!

    Next year important things I want to accomplish are obtaining English communication skills in Mr. Marlowe's class and studying specialized subjects more harder than now. Because I will use English many times in the future while I am a college student and after getting a job too. And because specialized subjects are very difficult. So I have to study it to get a job. Therefore these two things are important.

#4: Leadership

1)    Leader is a top person in the group and has to lead a lot of people in the right direction. To make many people fellow, leader needs reliance and reasons which can fully convinces them that what the leader says is right thing. Therefore, I think that abilities to move people based on conviction from the bottom of heart and to build confidential relationship make a good leader.

2)    I think that leaders are made. Because if even we can learn right skills, everyone can become a good leader. So if we make effort to get a skill of leadership too, we may will be able to become a good leader.

#3: How would your life be different without the Internet?

   If it had not been for the Internet, we would have suffered many troubles in daily life. I think that it causes two serious problems. 

   First problem is that we will need huge time to find out information which we want when we survey something information. For example, if there are information we look for not in Japan but in foreign countries, we will actually have to go to the foreign countries or order the information from overseas. It means that transfer speed of information is very slow, so we will generate waste time. 

   Second problem is that transportation such as  airplane or train don't develop. To operate a lot of airplane and trains, we have to control complicated transportation network by using Internet. So if it has not been for Internet, we couldn't have controlled them. And also when we visit distant place like foreign country, we have very  difficulty going there. 

  
    In conclusion, without Internet, we would be able to spend  daily life like current. I could understand importance of Internet  and convenience of it by thinking about this theme.

#2: How is English important for your job or future ?

     I think that there are three points about English important for your job or future.
   
    First point, English is common language in the world and spoken all over the world. Therefore if we are an adult and work, there will be a lot of opportunities that we have to talk with foreigners.   

    
 　Second point, recently, there are many Japanese companies in foreign countries and in the future, we may have to go to oversea for working. So we have to improve English communication skills from now.

   








 Third point, to play an active part in the world, we have to explain our abilities to be admitted by many foreign people by speaking English. So English is very important.

   
 In conclusion, we need to master English as hard as possible to live in the global community. Therefore I'm always going to learn English while considering about English important. 

#1: Changing my hometown

   My hometown is Port Island in the Kobe city. I think that there are three changing points to make Port Island more attractive.

   First point, in this island, young people are decreasing and elderly people are increasing. If this condition keep for a long time, there will be no liveliness from this island. By the way, in Port Island, there are three private universities such as Kobe gakuin college, Hyogo medical college and Syukugawa college. So there  are a lot of students in this island. Therefore if these people are taken place something special functions like festival and campaign, this island will take back liveliness and a lot of people may be going to visit there.

   Second point, in south of this island, there are a lot of vacant landfill. So if it builds many kinds of building such as large shopping center or something peculiar building of only Kobe city, we can appeal to many visitors.   Third point, there are a lot of factories, so if a tour of these factories take place on a holiday, a lot of people will visit Port Island. 

   In conclusion, there are many points which we have to change now, so I think that we need appeal to people in Port Island.
